Hampton Road Transit Fares
All HRT buses, trolleys and ferries are equipped with electronic fareboxes. Fareboxes will accept cash, coins and HRT magnetic-stripe farecards. We cannot make change so please have exact fare when boarding. HRT Farecards are an excellent way to save time and money. Most of the farecards are discounted so they save you money! And you won’t have to remember to bring change! But remember to use them quickly as they expire within a year. Select a transportation service below to view the fare information.
