We accept applications at Hampton Roads Transit offices Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. There are four (4) options for getting your application to us
1. Apply in person at: 3400 Victoria Boulevard, Hampton, VA or 1500 Monticello Avenue, Norfolk, VA
2. You may download the HRT Employment Application. Complete it online and print; or print it first and then complete it. You can also email your application to organizationaldevelopment@hrtransit.org
3. Fax your application to (757) 222-6171 or (757) 788-8429
4. Mail your application to 3400 Victoria Boulevard, Hampton, VA 23661
Please Note: It is essential that you specify the position for which you are applying. You must submit an application for each position.
We will contact you if we determine that you are among the most qualified candidates.
All positions require a valid VA driver’s license.
Please be aware that it is our policy to check all references and driving records, complete academic verifications (when required) and civil and criminal background checks for all positions. Drug and Alcohol tests are required for all positions.
